Our Phoenix Fox Patrol headed out to Renville last Monday for a pre Phoenix camp. The Phoenix is the national campcarft competition and this year it will take place in Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick. A team of 8 will take part in the competition and they planned this camp to get some practice in setting up their campsite and working as a team ahead of the long weekend in August.
For the 2 and a half days we were there, they built their entire site, practised some of the cooking and also learned a lot about time management! Needless to say they’re very much looking forward to the camp in August!
