Our Ventures and Rovers had a great time over the past few weeks attending both Into Da West and Ventact.
Into Da West is a Venture and Rover Camp for the Western Scouting Province and our lads (and ladies!) had a great time taking part in various activities such as paint balling, trail biking, backwoods, segway and many more in Lough Keel Campsite in Co. Roscommon. There was a good turnout for the second run of the camp and it only looks like it’ll grow even more with time.
We also had a few who travelled to Ventact in Kilcully campsite in Co. Cork. Ventact has been on the run for many years now as a highlight in the National Scout Calendar and the event was as memorable as always. Our guys took part in all kinds of activities such as a “Monopoly Run” around Cork city, a “bogstacle” course and various other ones in East Cork Adventure Centre.
